I’m being forced to install Microsoft Silverlight
On the DNCC’s website the schedules for all the events were for some reason all done in Microsoft’s Silverlight. For those of you who don’t know what Silverlight is, it’s essentially Microsoft’s answer to the growing popularity of Adobe’s Flash. So now I am forced to install yet another proprietary web technology to be able to view a website properly. Well I’ve installed it and now instead of the messages seen below, I have white space. The site appears not to have a calendar of events for the convention.
