Don’t trust Firefox 3 to find updated Add-ons

I feel like slightly stupid.  I’ve been wondering why there hasn’t been an update to Firebug to work with Firefox 3.  I would get excited every time Firefox found an updated extension thiking “maybe this time it will have it”.  After the TailsExport Add-on update just now I figured I would look into what the hold up is.  I come to find out that there is a version of Firebug available for Firefox 3.  It’s the first thing that came up in a Google search.  Now I have to go and manually find out if there are updates to the other disabled Add-ons.
