I’ll be discussing my CPAP mask upgrade.

When I first got my CPAP back in December the medical equipment supplier gave me a mask that have two small air ports that went into my nostrils.

I didn’t ending wearing for very long until I got my humidifer attachment because I was waking up with severe dry mouth. Once I did get the humidifier I was wearing it pretty consistently. After a couple weeks though I would wake up with my nostrils hurting from the constant pressure from the mask all night. I stopped wearing it and asked to get a different mask but they initially denied.

Well they finally decided to give me a new mask since my doctor couldn’t see me for my follow up appointment since there wouldn’t be much to discuss. It’s a mask that actually lays over my nose rather then up it.

I tried it out for the first time last night and it seemed 100 times better. The biggest benefit was not having to wrap the hose around my head.
