DownThemAll (DTA) is a Firefox extension that enhances your downloading capabilities. It can manage your downloads as well as make multiple connections to download files faster, resume downloading, and it can help you rip images and other files off of websites. My favorite use for it is downloading something from my favorite newsgroup service Easynews. DTA is so flexible you can add your own filters to the extension for your specific needs. Below is the REGEX filter I wrote for Easynews. The reason this works here is because Easynews serves all of it’s downloadable files from the same URL (http://downloads.easynews.com). Set your filter the way I have it below and then it will show up when you bring up the DTA manager. Happy downloading.
